PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Partnerships In Child Care began in the 1970s providing support for child care providers and serving as a referral source for parents.

Take an age-specific training class offered by Volunteers of America, throughout the month.  These trainings offer many ways on how a child care home provider or facility can actively engage the minds of young children through educational activities.  You can get the hands on experience you need through demonstrations and activities.

Finding a child care provider in your community isn't the easiest thing to do, but Volunteers of America provides parents with a list of child care services, so when you do make your decision, you feel comfortable with it.  Recently, Volunteers of America has become the leader in assisting the early care and education programs with our participation in the emerging quality rating system for child care centers.  The rating system aims to promote environments and practices that will, in turn, promote positive learning outcomes for young children.
