Become a Foster Care Parent!

You have the power to make a difference in the life of a child. There are many foster children waiting to be placed within a family home. Volunteers of America is seeking responsible, caring adults who are ready to make this commitment. 

The entire process normally takes 3 to 4 months which includes orientation, a 36-hour training for certification, a home study and background screenings. Respite families are also needed, although the certification process is the same.
